Michael Rosato of Gainesville, formerly of Stuart, won the half marathon race at the inaugural Marathon of the Treasure Coast in a time of 1:15:41. Brandon Hill of Jensen Beach placed second in 1:22:25 and David Stone of West Palm Beach came in third in a time of 1:25:43. Peter Erwig of Port St. Lucie won the master’s race in 1:31:16.
In the women’s race, Mary Kreis of Belle Vernon, Pa., took the title in 1:33:57, Eileen Turenne of Jupiter placed second in 1:36:02 and Jennifer Ventriglia took third in 1:42:16. Lisa Higbee won the master’s race in 1:49:48.
